Well, it looks like you have driven 167 miles south and have arrived at your first camping destination in Whakapapa Village. I hope you were able to find a cooking stove. If not I hope they have dried jerky in New Zealand! Just wondering what your adventure today will be.
I think he should toast some marshmallows on the hot volcano lava. Yummy.
You heading north to the beach or are you going to drive south into the real mountains? Looks chilly down south.
