You must of passed through Arrowtown in the Southern Lakes District. It is the "gold country" of New Zealand. I hope you got a chance to pan for some of that gold! It says there are wonderful wineries. Did you try any of their brew? I'm sure you didn't miss the "walking tracks" (is that New Zealand for walking trails?) Well the weather says all it is doing is raining. I hope you are seeing some sun.
