Khakis?
Ok so not exactly the wilderness but we did go hiking at Multnomah Falls today outside of Portland. It was awesome but wewalkedby A LOT of people wearing khakis and polos! It's hard to get in the hard core hike groove when you walk by someone in khaki pants. Off to Bend tomorrow and the big hike.

I hiked up there while on a business trip wearing wool dress pants and Cole Haan loafers, so, yeah, I know where you're coming from.
really?! I was blown away by how many people we saw dressed up. We felt "overdressed", being in our hiking gear and then getting passed by someone with pennies in their shoes.
